Tips for reusing wilted vegetables
➡️ Reviving wilted vegetables
Got any softened veggies left over? 🥺 Soak them overnight in cold water, in the fridge, and the crunch will return! Use this technique with carrots, broccoli, lettuce, or even celery! This technique works especially with vegetables that are made up of a lot of water, they are easier to rehydrate.
➡️ Sugar for preservation
Add a splash of vinegar and 2 sugar cubes to your bowl of cold water. Sugar has preservative power, it will help your vegetables regain their freshness 😄
➡️ Ideal for cooking
Even though they are less appetizing than fresh vegetables, softened vegetables are ideal for cooking! Because they are softer… they cook faster! Some will also taste better over time, like peppers!
➡️ A delicious soup
Gather your potatoes, carrots, parsnips, broccoli, … wilted or not, you can make a delicious soup.
➡️ Preserving your salad
Start by removing the damaged leaves, dab it with a cloth and keep it in paper towels! Then place it in a plastic bag and put it in the vegetable bin! The most important thing is to dry it well and avoid humidity!

Gather all your damaged vegetables and roast them in the oven! Cut them into slices or chunks, depending on your taste. Sprinkle them with a little olive oil and season!
